Hi, I'm Aleksandra.
I like understanding how things work, and I like explaining them just as much — which is really just a roundabout way of saying I like to write.
Most days, that curiosity gets pointed at mobile apps: the small decisions behind why something works, or doesn't. Some days it goes toward a side project I'm building with friends instead.
Outside of that: I read, write, do yoga, obsess over bees (I recently completed a beekeeping course), and study German — I tend to collect interests rather than narrow them down. Writing turned out to be the thread connecting all of it, and this site is where that goes, instead of staying in a hundred open tabs on my phone.
Why do I feature art pieces in my post covers?
Post covers on this site sometimes feature work from Arhiva Umetnica — a slow, book-by-book, archive-by-archive project of mine documenting women artists from the Balkans that art history quietly left out. Most of them don't have a Wikipedia page yet. It's the project I'm proudest of, and the one furthest from finished.
